ASATA Power is a San Francisco Bay Area all-volunteer grassroots collective organizing South Asian communities to build political power and hold institutions accountable.
Our work is member-driven, values-rooted, and focused on advancing policies that allow South Asians and all people to thrive.
We believe in a future where:
All people are safe, free, and able to thrive
Immigrants are welcome.
Communities are resourced.
Public dollars serve human needs.
We are a 501(c)(4) organization. We are the sister organization affiliated with the Alliance of South Asians Taking Action, or ASATA, a 501(c)(3) organization.
